We created the project “humans of Friedland” to make the human being visible. Especially during the last months, when more and more people have seeked refuge in Germany, the word “refugee” has been used to stigmatize people. The media uses the words “stream of refugees”, “floods of refugees” and “refugee crisis”. We stand up against these defamatory statements and show, that every human has his*her own story which is worth listening to. Noone is illegal!
